Why I love Folsom Lake
In all reality, you can do just about anything out there. Go find a quite place to get some great solitude; for me I can get away and read the bible in the nature that God created! The sunrises and sunsets are absolutely astounding out there.

You can go with your friends and in the winter, find a nice alcove in the rocks to hang out in, smoking your pipe (bummer for me) and talking about life. In the summer, it provides a great swimming ground and if you get ryan mauro, you can have diving contests and see who can go the deepest!

I just cannot put my finger on what is the best part. I go biking, swimming, running, relaxing, I read, I nap, I seem to be able to do everything out there. I am really looking forward to moving in with the Whites and living right there! That will be awesome!
This picture is pretty cool. I had to risk the chance of catching the hiv, getting West Nile and had to deal with the tender stinging you get when you watch a mosquito draw your blood. It is a cool picture and you can really zoom in and see the detail of the mosquito. I have to admit, this mosquito passed away shortly after this photo was taken.
Imogen Heap. Very good music to listen to when out at Folsom watching the sun go down. Although it is not the best running music, so I suggest stopping your run, watching the sunset and then turning on some queen, or afi, or remedy drive, and most indefinitely some mewithoutyou!!
Officially sworn in
So on January 16, 2007 I was officially sworn in as a police officer for the City of Roseville (technically it was the second time). We had a short ceremony and it was really nice. The Chief commented while he was introducing me about my big arrest that occurred during my first week on the job. It was kinda awkward, but nice at the same time! I am looking forward to a long career in law enforcement

Fallen Officers
"The Final Inspection"
The policeman stood and faced his God,
which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My church have you been true?"
The policeman squared his shoulders
and said, "No Lord. I guess I ain't.
Because those who carry badges,
can't always be a saint."
"I've had to work most Sundays,
and at times my talk was rough...
and sometimes I've been violent
because the streets are awful tough."
"But I never took a penny,
that wasn't mine to keep...
though I worked a lot of overtime
when the bills got just too steep."
"And I never passed a cry for help,
though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I wept unmanly tears."
"I know I don't deserve a place
among the people here.
They never wanted me around
except to calm their fear."
"If you've a place for me here, Lord,
it needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But, if you don't...I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne,
where saints had often trod,
as the policeman waited quietly
for the judgement of his God.
"Step forward now, policeman
You've borne your burdens well.
Come walk a beat on heaven's streets.
You've done your time in hell."

Romania1
So, think is me back in the day. I was in Romania and we were rapping in romanian. The trip was a two week long trip, one week in a youth camp in the middle of the forest, the other week in TG Mures. During the second week, Steve and I visited a gypsy camp. I could not believe the conditions that the people in the camp lived in. The streets were not asphalt, or even dirt, rather fecal matter and mud. A family of 8 or 10 would live in a shack the size of my bedroom.
Steve and I gathers up about 300 dollars. That amount of money was enough to feed 4 families for a week, provided them with hygiene supplies, and other important items.
The Patriot!
HOWEVER, I have to say that this scene is pretty gosh darn manly!
Current mood: contemplative
What is a good person? A good person can be defined in many ways, each way unique and valued. Someone, who had made some big mistakes, once told me that he wanted me (and others) to know that he was not a bad person. Under the circumstances I believed he felt it appeared that he was. Unbeknownst to him, I did not think he was a bad person. People make mistakes, some bigger than others, but what defines a man is how they respond to the mistakes they have made. "If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down. " Mary Pickford.
Anyone who can man up, apologize, confess and ask for forgiveness is a true and honorable person.
Not everyone holds the views that I have, some decide to belittle the person who made the mistake, some just want revenge, but that is not right. It is important in this unstable world, to build others up, to encourage them and help them through the hard times. Heavens knows, during the times that I have been in trouble, all I wanted was someone by my side encouraging me to press on.
"He who refuses to embrace a unique opportunity loses the prize as surely as if he had failed."
~ William James
One of my favorites:

Josh, Shiloh and Kevin take dodgeball very seriously! I highly recommend that you do not mess with them when in the arena!
So, tell me..

do you know how hard it is to drive into a sunset, switch lanes, talk on the cell phone, change cd's and take a picture?, originally uploaded by Danman123.
Do you know how hard it is to drive into a sunset, switch lanes, talk on the cell phone, change cd's and take a picture? Well I do and it ain't easy!
The Day Stubby fell for the last time.
You may ask, "Who is this so-called Stubby?" Well stubby was one unlucky buck. He ran up on me and my father. One .270 round, one .300 mag round and 150 yard sprint later, Stubby fell for the last time. This was my first buck ever and my father's first in 23 years.
Here it is, the first hunt of the year, first morning, first sunrise. Stubby bounded up towards me and was about 25 yards from me when I first saw him. He ran in a direction where my father was, so I did not get a shot. My dad (who was about 100 yards away from me) saw him and took a shot. He thought he had missed. Unfortunately for Stubby, he ran right back to me. I took a shot from about 25 yards ad Stubby was bounding through bushes. I thought I missed Stubby too.
My dad and I ended up finding blood on the ground. We tracked the blood for about 150 yards and found Stubby, lying peacefully on the ground... oh wait, he was dead. My father and I both his Stubby, our rounds only 6 inches from each other.
I will forever remember this Icehouse trip, for just off Icehouse Road, Stubby fell for the last time.
Good story
Flying, yes, like superman
So the other day.... well a few weeks ago, my neighbor, who is awesome, took my flying and it was fun! <-- my english teacher would have hated that sentence.) So anyway, it was cool. We flew out to folsom lake, around GB and up to Auburn! OH! and we flew over Eddie Murphy's house. We then flew over roseville and circled my work, finally we headed back out to executive for landing!

The First blog ever
I was born in Sacramento, California and have lived here all my life. I went to elementary school and junior high in Citrus Heights. I attend Casa Roble high school and graduated in January of 2004. I attended Sierra college for 2 years and Sacramento State for one semester. I was hired full time by the City of Roseville in 2007 and have had to take a break from school while my job life settles down. I plan on going back to Sacramento State in 2008.
Yeah, pretty boring life, eh? In reality, a bit more than that goes on, but hey, I have to save something for my other blogs, right?
So, Now I am going to give some insight on the rest of my life. They say a picture is worth 100 words, right? So I will just have to put some pictures up!
